Every Tuesday I use my lunch hour to go to the Farmers Market on the Embarcadero and pick up some fresh local fruits and veggies for the week. I’ve been avoiding this guy for a while, but today he caught me and pushed a “sample” of the bittersweet almond brittle into my face. What was I to do? I had to take it…. Then I had to buy a bag of it.

He knows I'm weak and I’ll be back next week for more.

I was wondering if you do any running drills along with your cycling training? There are cyclists and coaches who don't advise mixing running and cycling although running once or twice a week seems to help me as long as I don't over-do-it and progressively increase my running milege from week to week. On the other hand, mixing exercises like this makes me stiff and requires periodic daily stretching. I'd like to hear your thoughts.

I don't do any running these days, but was planning on adding it back in during the off season. Running seems to make me really sore these days.
