Only 5 hardy souls braved the brisk 54 degree (45 with fog/wind chill) SF Summer weather to take part in the 1st Polo Field Smack Down (PFSD). Records were set in several divisions despite the less than ideal conditions, but we expect all these records to fall in the weeks to come.
So, here are the results: Distance: 15 laps, 10.30 miles
Name | Team | Div | Time | Speed | Aero Equip | Notes
1) Chris Phipps | Morgan Stanley | 35+ | 23:20 | 26.49 | None | Course Record
2) Jacob Berkman | Mission Cycling | Cat 4 | 24:05*| 25.66 | Clip-ons | Cat 4 Record

consider a trophy (a la http://www.pezcyclingnews.com/?pg=fullstory&id=6192) ..maybe a chewbacca pez (peds?) dispenser
Thanks for the suggestion, I think a trophy would be fun. I actually have a Wolverine Pez dispenser I could use
